Deviant tastes -- I have found some Hugo- and Nebula-winning books unreadable. But then, I gave up on Wheel of Time and Harry Potter after about two books each.
Waiting for the car to be serviced. Shop says it needs $$$, things mainly due to age rather than wear. Not just an oil change and state inspection, this time.
