Air temperature 64 F, wind south about 8 mph, partly cloudy. Showers and thundershowers in the forecast, but no long soak to cut our deficit. Rivers and wells low.
Passed by one of those pickup truck flags yesterday, aggressive patriotism. But this was ragged all the way back to the "union" from the fly end. And dirty. Maybe this reflects the true state of the USA?
