Saturday floral report
May. 22nd, 2021 03:14 pmFirst lupine spikes showing color, although I couldn't tell from the bike whether they were truly open for business. Peculiar flowers of the curled dock doing their green thing, lots of honeysuckle, spirea starting to bloom, and still some Canada mayflower in the woods.
Roadkill limited to one chipmunk, flat but still stripe-side up.
Rode upriver to the university, cruised through to verify that the little village of apartments still stands, then back over hill and dale. Did not die. Felt a bit of mist at a couple of points, probably fog blown upriver, but no rain. did not die.
