Air temperature 54 F, wind southwest 7 mph, overcast. Light shower when I got up, nothing when I took out the garbage. This may interfere with my schedule for mowing the "lawn" . . .
Weeds have been shortened. Tiger swallowtail fluttered across my path as I walked to cool off after the shortening. C-5 and KC-135 overhead offered contrast. Brought a couple of purloined sprigs of columbine home in another spring ritual.
