Air temperature 4F, wind northwest about 10 mph, clear skies. Windchill -11 F. Weather-beans still talking about the bulk of the storm heading out to sea and just brushing us. There are benefits to having the bulk of the nation ignore us.
The waxwings have pretty much cleared our rowan tree -- I assume the few remaining berries are hard-to-reach. Lovely birds, but I wish they perched somewhere else.
