Air temperature 26 F, wind northwest gusting to 20 mph, scattered clouds. Foraging expedition planned into the rampaging pandemic.

Conflicted feelings

We've had a flock of Bohemian waxwings raiding our rowan tree. Lovely birds and we'd far rather the berries went to them instead of the starlings. But then they perch in the maple tree above our car . . .

Idle wondering, when we will get the first report of a person suffering CO2 suffocation from delivering semi-loads of dry-ice chilled vaccine. While not poisonous as such, that stuff is dangerous.
