I'll huff and I'll puff

Big Bad Wolf hasn't managed to blow down our house of sticks. Yet. Air temperature 60 F, wind southeast 20 mph gusting to 30, rain. Gusts over 50 mph around midnight, estimate of 100,000 customers without power this morning. We are not among them. Yet.

There and back again

Had to go out for an errand, upriver past the university. Did not get blown or washed off the road. Had a flock of ducks next to the cemetery pond, another flock upriver of a bridge, and about a hundred gulls in the hospital fields when I came back. Not fit weather for man nor beast.
