Waning half moon high

Air temperature 65 F, wind west about 8 mph, sky mostly clear. Bike ride scheduled. Should I also schedule the Two Minutes Hate?

Friday not-roadkill report

Riding through the cemetery on my way back, and a great blue heron flew across in front of me, about head-high and 40' out. Those birds are huge.

A few more of the pale purple asters are blooming, along with the white. Not really into aster season yet. Purple loosestrife continues to conquer the world.

Got out on the bike, windier than I'd like and upper 60s F. The main thing is it is less humid. Did not die.
