Periodic wet

Air temperature 65 F, wind south about 5 mph, overcast with patches of rain moving through. Walked for the newspaper but had to tuck it inside my shirt for the last part of my trek . . .

Laziness prevails

Took the road bike over to the shop and had them replace the tube. Got a new tire at the same time, as the old one had about 2000 miles on it. Also, two new spare tubes.

No splattered turtle in the road on my afternoon walk, so I guess yesterday's oddity made it that much further alive.

Variations on a gargoyle

Elder Son spotted a cormorant perched on the corner of a bookstore out in the mall complex. This is a location often claimed by a mockingbird. Wonder how they sorted that out.
