Tuesday roadkill report

One red squirrel, one gray squirrel, one porcupine. Judging by blood trail, the porky survived initial impact long enough to crawl to the road shoulder. If you are going out road-hunting with your F-150, please be sure of your kill . . .

Swamp candles starting to bloom, rabbit-foot clover, brown-eyed Susans. Should also mention that we're growing a fine crop of poison ivy along the roadsides.

Temperature in the mid 70s F, light wind, got out on the bike. Did not die. Bike odometer at 499 for the year, numerology tempted me to do a few extra laps around the block but I resisted.
