Idiots parade

Air temperature 67 F, up from 57 earlier, wind near calm, clear sky. Quiet here, while insanity reigns worldwide.

Nest activity

Merlins and other falcons are slow nesters -- long incubation and fledging. I haven't seen any activity at that nest for weeks, but saw movement on the nest yesterday and a right-sized shape flying away.

Nest addendum -- movement on the nest again today.  This is pure chance, as I only check that site once a day at most.
