Raining again still

Air temperature 50 F, wind south about 7 mph, overcast. Supposed to get a break in the rain later, but I believe my lawn and bicycle activities of yesterday have proven justified.

Fern wars

The glade fern and sensitive fern continue to battle for fern-garden supremacy, in the process engulfing the horsetail sprouts that persist, year after year, in the understory.

The scum of the earth

Pollen leaving yellow rings around the puddles on my morning walk route. At least that gets *some* of that crap out of our air . . .
