Mockingbird morning

Air temperature 51 F, wind NW about 7 mph, mostly cloudy. Rain stopped overnight but world still damp. And I need to mow and do other yardish stuff.

First round of yard work done. Will mow this afternoon, after my knees and back recover from squatting to clear the asparagus patch. But, asparagus soon!

Lawn shortened. No cats on afternoon walk, in spite of sun for basking. Raptor perched in spruce near that nest, no clear view.
