Air temperature 34 F, wind NW about 10 mph, partly cloudy for the newspaper walk. Bike ride maybe this afternoon, if we get up into the mid-50s F. Rain tomorrow.

Thursday spring report

Red-wing blackbirds filing competing claims on the patches of cattail marsh along my route, more azaleas blooming, shad-bush buds almost ready.

No fresh roadkill sighted, unless you count a rear-ender just this side of the bog. Someone in a small blue car got incautious with the back of a pickup truck. You can guess who suffered most.

Warmed up a bit, wind still annoying, but I got out on the bike. Did not die.
