Air temperature 53 F, wind southeast at 18 mph, patches of heavy rain cycling through. Weather radar suggests we may break out of this by afternoon. And since we sit about 100' above the river, local flooding is not a personal threat.
Heard at least one of the sharp-shins calling on my walk this afternoon. Saw the pair actually mating a day or two back. Maybe we have a solution for the plague of starlings and house sparrows.
