Odd memories

With all the hurricane coverage, I flashed back to sitting in State Police headquarters in Atlanta, 1960s, in front of a desk full of ham radio gear, emergency communications for one of the hurricanes coming our way. Still a vital service, folks, when the power goes out and the cell phone towers fall . . .
