Tiresome waiting

Air temperature 58 F, dew point 57, wind north about 5 mph, overcast. Heavy equipment supposed to show up "mid-morning" to finish grading the gravel base of our driveway, asphalt tomorrow. Other work in the neighborhood has already triggered several false alarms . . .
