Monday ick report

Swamp candles blooming at the bottom of their flower spikes, curled dock seedheads turning brown, honeysuckle berries ripening. More wild roses along the roadside and in the fields.

Roadkill limited to one partial snowshoe hare and a very flat chipmunk, only identifiable by the stripes.

Got out on the bike and forced my way through the thick air, on the likelihood that it is only going to get worse. Did not die.
