River fog again

Air temperature 44 F, dew point 44, calm. Spring on the Maine coast repeats itself. Chipmunk on yesterday's walk seemed to regard me as less of a threat than might be wise -- I think someone has been putting out food.

Got the plastic bag for "Stamp Out Hunger" in today's mail. This always comes just *after* we have been to the grocery store. Plus, our local food bank people remind us that they can make a dollar's worth of donation buy a lot more food than we can . . . .

Just had a satellite pass south to north in polar orbit, glowing and then fading out. Timing is everything.
