Got the plastic bag for "Stamp Out Hunger" in today's mail. This always comes just *after* we have been to the grocery store. Plus, our local food bank people remind us that they can make a dollar's worth of donation buy a lot more food than we can . . . .

I got mine the day-before. And that, to me - it might as well be the day after, given how rarely I can make up the energy to raid my pantry or otherwise try to make something happen.

I'm glad it's only minor - I reckon some people get happiness out of it.

Heh. Having just read Going Postal, maybe they'd let you put some stamps in the bag, and redeem them for food donations - at the current value, for "Forever Stamps". It probably wouldn't work, but I usually *do* have a few stamps!
