Not windy this morning.  May sneak in that bike ride yet.  Intend to switch to the road bike if I do.

Our redpoll outliers still show up for thistle seeds -- at least two birds, one with pink front and one without, but not a pair as we rarely see them at the same time.  Blotch-finches get more yellow by the day, and may deserve the label "goldfinch" soon.

Amazon.com claims to have located the (acknowledged) problem and is working on a fix.  Conspiracy theories abound, fueled by the initial customer-disservice response.

Tuesday roadkill report

Yes!  Roadkill!

One dead porcupine, under a guardrail near the golf course.  We can start the real count for the year!

Pumped up the tires on the road bike and headed out under blue skies (and the appearance, if not the actuality, of warm sun.  Actual temperature 45 F . . .)  Also wind gusts, but those hit the range of 15 mph, considerably less than yesterday's offering.

(I appear to have punched the wrong calibration numbers into the bike computer after replacing the battery.  Mileage for that air pressure should be around 15.27.  Yes, I'm OCD.  Hundredths of a mile matter!)
