Got maybe an inch and a half of rain overnight, with wind gusts over 35 mph.  Quieted down now.  Tossed several squares of matting back over fence into Neighbor's yard, from whence they migrated.  No obvious wind damage or flooding.

Some areas got 3-4" of rain and have roads closed due to wet.  Also higher winds.  Flood watches or warnings along rivers and streams.

Spring in New England.

Goldfinches are starting to develop yellow feathers, changing from the drabfinches of winter plumage.  Also, earthworms seen on the sidewalks -- proof that at least some of the ground has thawed.

And I declare our yard snow-free.  (Still a patch, about six inches on a side, of semi-ice under a rhododendron, but that's technically on Neighbor's turf, next to her house.)
