Gray, with occasional redpolls

Supposed to remain damp with no actual rain until later, at which time we may expect Significant Precipitation.  All rain for us, but Northern Reaches may have mix or snow.

Only two redpolls sighted so far.  Maybe the infestation is moving on?  Will be a blessing on our thistle-seed bin if they do.

May stoke up the stove this afternoon, with no prospect of solar heat in view.

Spotted an immature sharp-shinned hawk perched in the snag-topped maple a couple of houses over.  Bird-eater.  Maybe that will persuade the redpolls to move on?
