Gray morning, with redpolls

Light rain, off and on, never actually enough to wash the bird-splots off the cars.  Unwanted end-product, so to speak, of having bird feeders ten feet from your parking space . . .

Temperature mid-40s F now, didn't go below freezing at all last night.  Mud season (AKA pothole season) in full swing.

Harbinger, MkIII

Flock of mixed blackbirds (redwings, grackles, and starlings) on our afternoon neighborhood stroll.  Ducks still enjoying the skating rink.
