Light snow (continued)

We got another few inches of snow after I cleared up the driveway, etc, yesterday.  Lather, rinse, repeat this morning.  Have hauled Wife out to the nature center, she not wishing the drive herself, and made use of the return trip to hit grocery store and bank.  Thus do we justify the mileage.

Now, have removed the snowplow berm from the end of the driveway.  Chatted with Neighbor while tidying up -- he just got laid off from his auto-parts plant job.  It's the economy, stupid!  At least he got a decent severance package, so they won't starve while he looks for new work.

Took advantage of the accumulation to get out in the City Forest.  First outing since the thaw and following rain, which left trails icy and off-trail crusty.  Neither fun.

Fresh snow, decorating trees and covering the leavings of dogs. 

No dead animals to report.
