As I have stated on previous iterations, we will have six more weeks of winter no matter what.  At least.  Your average Maine woodchuck wouldn't be able to get out of his/her den through all of the snow and ice, anyway, and waking up in the middle of hibernation can be fatal . . .

Thaw?

According to the weather-bean on TV, we reached a high of 35 F (positive, even) today.  First time for a while.

Back below freezing now.
