The "weather" is supposed to pass offshore south of us, heading off to bother Canadians.  Light snow along the coast.

We've heard that before.

Morning temperature mid-20s F.  We have interesting cornices where snow has oozed down along the roof and hangs over the eaves.  Snow and ice can develop a visual tension between cantilever and counterbalance . . .

Before going thump, that is.

Snowing

Maybe an inch of fine dry snow on top of the old stuff.  Brightens up the place.

We're supposed to get maybe 3" to 4" here, more 'way Down East.
