No snow yet.  Looking at the national weather radar, that sucker stretches all the way from *here* to *there*.  Looks like a fast learning-curve for the new Sooper-Dooper Snowblower.

Let's not and say we did.

Sleet

Stuff rattling on the windows.  Temperature 27 F.  Neighbor has run his snowblower, including our sidewalk -- I haven't had a chance to tell him that we have replaced our beast.  "The king is dead!  Long live the king!"

If we're gonna get sleet and freezing rain, I prefer to leave the preliminary layers of snow in place until such nonsense stops.  Cuts down on icy asphalt.

Stove is warm and we don't have to go anywhere in the morning.
