We have received about 3" of snow, which I will proceed to relocate in a little bit, after I finish my coffee.

Also, the infamous coffee shop received planning board approval.  As noted in the news article, their review covers items such as parking, traffic, building safety, and signage.  Nothing to do with work uniforms.  Or lack of same . . .

(Many years ago, one of the students at our karate dojo was a stripper.  She'd have laughed in your face and flipped you off if you tried to tell her she shouldn't or couldn't work one of the best jobs she'd ever had.  Good student, too.  She knew how to move.)

We apparently got a mix -- layered stuff, snow and sleet and a mid-level crust.  Being a lazy ass, I used the snowblower in spite of the small accumulation.

Little bit of weirdness on the cars, probably relating to wind direction -- rear glass of Wife's car is clear, rear of mine is iced.  While the windshields show the opposite.

Skis!

Took advantage of the fresh surface to head out to the City Forest.  Just about ideal snow conditions, though thin -- someone had been out with a larrumphing big dog, and the paw prints went down to ice.  Didn't affect skiing, though.

In typical over-doer's fashion, I did the full loop, even though I haven't been out on skis in a couple of weeks.  Found another couple of trees down across the trail, but no problem detouring around.  Besides dog and people tracks, saw squirrel, mouse, and deer tracks and a probable snowshoe hare.

Couple of fresh flurries while I was out, turning the woods into a picture postcard.

4 miles, 57 minutes.
