Another strafing run

The current impending doom (snow, this time) appears to be aimed south of us.  Not that southern Maine and New Hampshire need any further harassment from the weather gods . . .

Air temperature 6F, windchill -10F.  So I went for a walk, of course.  No cats visible.

Maybe I should stop these evening walks, though, for the public good.  Last night, I came around the corner of our block and encountered flashing blue lights.  Cop in charge of an accident scene, looked like rear-ender, and hard enough that air bags deployed.  Then tonight, it was flashing red lights in the block of Palm Street on beyond us.  Probably medical 911, since they send a fire truck out on those as well as the ambulance.

I am a bird of ill omen.
