Strange are the ways of modern logistics
Sep. 12th, 2008 09:18 amBefore we had internets and package tracking, we never would have known that four packages, sent on two consecutive days from the same UPS Store and to the same address, would follow three different routes 'twixt Maine and California.
One route apparently utilized a black hole. The package vanished in Massachusetts, never logged out, and reappeared in California* without being logged in . . .
Commercial wormhole travel is here?
*Reappeared in a different UPS terminal than its shipping-mate. Thus the third route.
