Less gray?
Aug. 2nd, 2008 09:24 amI see almost-shadows out there, and the damp patches of asphalt are drying. All this will merely recharge the clouds for our afternoon showers/thunderstorms, of course, but I may be able to mow the lawn before they strike . . .
Also along the "gray" line, what is it about gray stripy cats that causes them to lose all sense of traffic-caution when they see a potential ear-scratch walking on the opposite side of the street? Collarless Cat came charging across when I was returning with the morning newspaper. Good thing that guy driving the big red SUV was paying attention and doesn't appear to hate cats . . .
Tiger, at the other end of the block, has the same gray and stripy look and the same disdain for traffic. We keep wondering how he has survived to get so old.
