Some rain, with accompanying sound and light show, overnight.  We are supposed to clear off and steam today, with MOTS on into Wednesday. 

Whatever happened to the traditional New England "If you don't like it, wait five minutes" weather?

Incremental progress

Have acquired and mounted one new bike tire, with one new tube to replace an older one in stock.  Rotate your stock, FIFO, etc.  Could not acquire a second new  tire, as that bike shop had only one of the size, make and model I use, chosen for resistance to road hazards*.  Will attempt other shops later.

*Wearing a tire down to the cords does not constitute "road hazards" within the meaning of the act.  This would be my public admission of criminal negligence in inspecting my equipment . . .
