Tuesday no-roadkil report

Zero.  Zilch.  Not even mummified scraps of unidentified skin and fur, not even bloodstains.  Boring roads.

Also, something in the air has me coughing and wheezing after the morning bike ride.  New species of pollen in the mix?

Anyway, got out for a run around the weekday route, before any Weather could happen.  Nothing particular to report.

Well, the downside of having offspring off in the wilds of California is that then you wonder whether they got hit by the latest earthquake . . .

Magnitude 5.8*, about twenty miles from their apartment.  We have heard from Younger Son and Significant Other, with added updates on the cats.  No damage.

Don't know if Elder Son even felt it -- he's much further north.  Meanwhile, we have a thunderstorm within earshot.
