We had a sunrise this morning.  No fog.  I'd forgotten what one looks like.

Prediction of thunderstorms later, so we return to our regularly-scheduled weather.

Not even dessicated corpses or notable blood spots on the pavement.  Municipal tidiness can go too far.  (The lack of blood may only reflect rainfall, of course.)

Warm, not as damp, little wind.  Milkweed now blossoming.

All of Younger Son's stuff has been sorted and the dining room and living room retrieved.  Just as long as he doesn't ask us to find any particular item, we're good.

(If Younger Son or Significant Other happen to be reading this, it wasn't really that bad.  Or, as I said the other day, writers are liars.  Consider it exaggeration for dramatic effect.)

The Economist magazine reports a poll.  In which 53% of those polled in the US were in favour* of an unequivocal ban on torture.  31% supported the torture of terrorists to save lives.
