Omen pigeon?

Item on MPBN radio news this morning, traffic on the Maine Turnpike was down over the holiday weekend, compared to last year.  This in spite of our personal efforts in the opposite direction.  I guess dead moose aren't enough attraction.

Tourism accounts for a significant chunk of the Maine economy.  Can't we get all you folks to just mail the cash and save gas?
