Still contemplating that ride

Also still debating the car question. Haven't bought a new car since 1974, but our current driving habits don't put much mileage on a car. Like, maybe 4000 miles a year between the two vehicles. Which means that we're buying years on Maine roads and through Maine winters rather than buying a lot of miles. This makes a 2005 or 2006 model with 50,000 miles on it look more attractive than a 2004 or 2003 with 20,000...
But I'm not finding that high-mileage recent model, so a 2008 car with zero miles on it looks like a possibility. We could still be driving that in 2020...
