Yes, again.
Only supposed to get maybe an inch of slushy snow, then rain and warming all the way to maybe 40 F. Whee! Spring!
And in the schadenfreude zone, I drove for my morning newspaper today. Since I like to warm the car up enough to at least register on the temperature gauge, I swung around by way of a street (Howard, for you few locals) where the residents have been complaining bitterly about excess traffic cutting through from the hospital to the mall area. Got the city to introduce some "calming" features on the road, and a right-turn only at the hospital end.
(What, me? Deliberately drive down a street where the residents have tried to foist additional traffic off on our much-narrower parallel road? Never...)
Anyway, they have acquired a truly notable crop of potholes and frost heaves. I can just see the city engineer and public works director in conference. "Hey, you want to discourage traffic? Have we got a deal for you!"
