Waiting for Godot...

...or for the blizzard, whichever comes first.  We have received maybe an inch of snow, out of the threatened 10-16" forecast.  This hath the look so far of "Oops, it passed out to sea south of us..."

Which could change at any minute.

Temperature in the 20s F this morning.  Positive degrees, that is.

Another death in the family...

"Sorry to have to report the news that Janet Kagan Died today of acute Chronic
obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). She was on hospice care toward the end,
but ending came fairly quickly. A small memorial service will be held at the
Kagan home, next week. Please don't send flowers. I will let you know If and
where charitable donations are in order."

First pass

Ran the snowblower around our asphalt for a while, chewing up the storm and spraying it in all directions.  So far, we have received about 8" of the white, with rates of fall, shall we say, falling.  Didn't bother with a full cleanup, but did manage my timing to have the city plow go through while I was still working.

We shall see what the morning light reveals.
