The politicos have come and gone,  I need no longer fear a bouncy Chelsea Clinton voice on the phone, and we can get back to moving snow around.  For those keeping score, Obama "won" Maine in a record turnout for the Democratic caucuses.

They will now ignore us for, I hope, whole months at a stretch.

Meanwhile, I have snow to relocate.

Well, I have relocated the snow/slush/ice of last night's episode, giving us access to the cars.  Have not attempted ingress to said cars, which may pose problems -- the final round of weather started as rain before the bottom fell out of the thermometer...

Windy.  Cold.  Blowing and drifting snow.  February.

And you don't want to be standing downrange when the snowblower chews into the plow berm at the end of our driveway.  Those chunks of ice depart with considerable and dangerous velocity.  I keep an eye out for cars*, not wanting to buy anyone a new windshield...

*Also because I am not yet ready to die, crushed under the wheels of a plow truck that couldn't stop in time.

Somebody on my reading list asked, once upon a time, why people refer to the major Democratic candidates as "Hillary" and "Obama", as possibly dismissive of Ms. Clinton.

At least in Maine, that's the way their printed signs read...

Have achieved one usable car.  Have not tried to access the other -- windchill out there in the minus ohmigod range.
