I make my yearly wish that you all may still have half your wood and half your hay in storage...

(Yes, Maine has groundhogs.  They are all tucked away safely in their dens, sleeping.  Not gonna wake up for any stupid mis-named non-event.)

Nasty stuff still falling out of sky -- rain, then sleet, then snow when I went out for the newspaper.  Drove.  Roads slushy or wet.  Didn't trigger the anti-lock braking even once.

Well, we have this monster photo-copier, office size, that I picked up ten years ago for $10 at a ham radio get together.  It worked.  Actually still does, or did until I started to tear it apart into bite-sized chunks to get rid of it.  Damned thing weighs over 250 pounds...

Anyway, I dropped a 20-pound piece of it on my foot.  No broken bones, but it managed to remove about a square inch of skin.  Now debating if that is a big-enough wound to justify professional medical attention.  But first, I have to retrieve Wife from the nature center, because she needed driving service this morning.

In less-ouchy news, the sun came out.
