Slop falling out of sky.  Rack and ruin on the ski trails.  Will be driving Wife to work.

Don't know if I'll have to shovel this crap or not -- we may get enough rain to melt it down, then turn to black ice in the predicted temperature plummet.  Subzero predicted to return over the weekend.

Wife and I went out for our evening slide around the neighborhood.  Yes, this morning's rain is now oozing out from under the snowbanks and freezing on every walking or driving surface.  The black ice is upon us.

YakTrax are stretchy neoprene webs wrapped in spring steel coils, to be applied over the soles of your Bean boots as traction aids for such excursions.  They keep ass and pavement separated rather well.
