December morning

Bright sun, chill still air.  We got some light snow overnight, just enough to dust the cars, so everything sparkles.

(Everything except my back, that is, revenge for the snow removal...)

Statistics and the scientific method

Saw an estimate of 14.5" of snow for our location.  I think that level of precision in the results exceeds the accuracy of the measurement...

Question regarding the WGA strike

Is PBS TV covered by that strike?  Getting tired of reruns in frigging December, for gossakes...
