Whoosh rattle thump

Windy this morning, temperatures in the low 20s F.  Windows rattling in the night, trash barrels migrating up and down the street.  Winter storm expected Sunday night into Monday.  Welcome to December.

(On the Fahrenheit scale, that is.  We've been negative on Celsius for a while...)

Wind chill below zero out there.  Actual air temperature around 10 or 11 F.  Recent predictions for the snow Sunday night/Monday, 6" to 12".  Neighbor across the street tuning up snowblower this afternoon.
