The sun has reached cat-level on the neighbor's porch.  Felines bask away the night's chill.

Mottled sky

The moon backlights an assortment of clouds, harbingers of our next run of questionable weather.  The whole scene looks like unrealistic art, sort of like when we get those Maxfield Parrish scenes or the sunsets that look like clouds printed into oil paintings with a lump of sponge.

As with writing, paintings can get into trouble by imitating life too closely...
