You know that ever-popular place "where the sun don't shine?"  Where you tell unpleasant people to stuff this or that annoyance, without benefit of lubricant?  Maine.

Cloudy yesterday, temperature inversion kept the stuff from burning off.  More cloudy this morning.  Weekend looks like a coastal storm, far enough offshore that it will bother Barnstead more than us, but more clouds.  And high temperatures barely exceeding 40 F.

Proof of concept

"Author copies" of the mass-market DRAGON'S TEETH arrived via stealth FedEx this morning.  As the edition was supposed to come out late last month, I was beginning to wonder if Ace decided printing it wasn't worth the trouble...

Go out and buy!  Buy two, they're small!  Buy a dozen and give them to your friends and relatives!

Also, in a parallel touch of cosmic symbolism, the sun came out.
