Chilli today, hot tamale?

Our New England weather roller-coaster continues, with morning temperatures in the low 40s F, projected highs around 70 today, and well into the 80s for Friday and the weekend.  At least the wind seems to have died down.

Watched Crazy Cat (orange-and-white fuzzy down the street, with apparent brain damage of some kind) enthusiastically killing a maple twig this morning.  He meowed at me with one paw pinning his prey to the ground.  I admired his skill.

No other morning news.

Jim Hines (like that name, James old bean) was nice enough to give me a bit of publicity on his LOL covers gig.  Now he wants (needs?) to stir up some "long tail" buzz on his books, and is offering some free copies to folks who give him the best reasons...
