Homeward bound

We decamp from the Undisclosed Location this morning.  Rather than the classic "Next year in Jerusalem" it's "Tonight in my own bed."  We hope for better luck with the Evil Empire (Continental Airlines), since our flights here accrued six hours of extra airport time.

Oh, and the previous post about the deer included a typo/braino -- the buck has 6 points total, 4 and 2.  _Not_ 4 and 6 as posted.  Saw them again yesterday, in a group of 4 that included the buck, the fawn, the doe, and another mid-sized critter smaller than the doe, not spotty.  Maybe last year's doe fawn?

We have arrived home.  With baggage.  The house didn't burn down in our absence.

Other than that, the nice folks  (Irony Alert!) at Continental Airlines have, as per usual, added to the karmic debt of the airline industry.
