Tuesday roadkill report
Aug. 7th, 2007 11:06 amOne measly red squirrel corpse for the entire loop. You'd think after a two week gap on that route, I'd find something more interesting.
Managed to thread my bike out through the parked trucks and paving equipment -- house across the street and down one is getting its driveway rebuilt. 'Tis the season to be paving, I guess, as I found about a mile and a half of fresh pavement on my weekday route. Not the worst areas getting repaved, of course. Not even the worst sections of those roads. Your infrastructure tax dollars at work.
Humidity is back, along with warmth. Made better time than I expected, not as debilitated by the layoff and assorted ailments.
15.36* miles, 1:04:20
*Time to pump up the bike tires again, apparently.
