The joys of aging

Well, Older Sister has knee-replacement surgery scheduled next week, so she is organizing things and sending emergency contact info around and such.  She's been dodging this for years.  Still and all, this body-falling-apart thing sucks.  Mightily.

Noted civil rights lawyer Oliver Hill, who played a pivotal role in the fight to end racial segregation in US schools, has died at the age of 100.
